Óscar de La Renta, el diseñador de la elegancia femenina
ÓSCAR DE LA RENTA, DESIGNER OF FEMININE ELEGANCE.
El mundo de
la moda se viste de luto tras la pérdida de uno de sus grandes diseñadores,
Óscar de La Renta. De origen Dominicano, sus primeros pasos en el mundo de la
moda lo sitúan en España, y sería Cristóbal Balenciaga quien le abriría las
puertas de su taller al mundo. Tras pasar por París, obtendría el
reconocimiento en EEUU, como director creativo de Elizabeth Arden. Y no sería
hasta 1967 cuando daría el paso para crear su propia marca, usando su nombre, Óscar de la Renta.
The fashion world is dressed in mourning after the lost of one of its
greatest designers, Óscar de la Renta. He is dominican origin, his first steps
in fashion world placed him in Spain, and Cristóbal Balenciaga’s workshop has
opened him the doors to the world. After he worked in Paris, got his
recognition in EEUU as creative director in Elizabeth Arden. He didn’t create
his own brand, until 1967, using his own name, Óscar de la Renta.

por las alfombras rojas de todo el mundo. Son muchos sus reconocimientos dentro
del mundo de la alta costura. Entre ellos nos arriesgamos a calificarlo como”
el diseñador de las primeras damas”; Jackie Kennedy fue la primera que se puso
en sus manos, siendo sus sucesoras Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush y
actualmente Michelle Obama.
First Ladies, actresses, singers, models have worn his most emblematic
designs on red carpets all over the world. He has many recognitions inside high
couture's world. Among them, we risk to qualify him as “designer of first
ladies”; Jackie Kennedy was the first that decided to choose him, and her
successors will do the same; Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush and
actually Michelle Obama.

MILAN FASHION WEEKJunto con París, la reina de las pasarelas de moda. Del 18 al 23 septiembre las grandes marcas de moda (Ferragamo, Prada, Armani, Versace, Gucci…) se pasearon por Milán, mostrando sus propuestas para la primavera-verano 2015. Nos quedamos con algunos detalles como las faldas de Philipp Plein que nos hacen sentirnos dentro de Grease, los diseños étnicos de Etro o el guiño “typical Spanish” de Dolce&Gabbanna.Milan and Paris are the kings of fashion weeks. Burberry y Tom Ford son los reyes de la pasarela londinense pero como siempre, muy bien acompañados: Erdem, Ralph Lauren, Marchesa….entre otros. Mucho muchísimo vestido, falda, piernas al aire, tejidos vaporosos, con vuelo y transparencias. Destacamos Burberry y sus trench coats, con nuevos diseños y colores, para no dejar de imaginarte con ellas.This fashion week was the shortest (12th to 16th September) but had more content. Burberry and Tom Ford were the king’s London fashion week and this year they had very well company: Erdem, Ralph Lauren, Marchesa…among others. We could see much more dresses, skirts, free legs, sheer material, with fullness and transparencies. We stand out for Burberry and his trench coats with new design and variety colours to you don’t stop imagine with them.
