Todos los años el cielo nos regala a mitad de agosto un espectáculo en forma de lluvia de estrellas, Las Perseidas. La lluvia de meteoros más famosa del  Hemisferio Norte, será entre las noches del  10 al 13 de agosto. Para disfrutar de las Perseidas, elige un lugar con poca contaminación lumínica y después de la medianoche.

Every year, the sky gives us a show with rain of stars, The Perseidas, during the middle of august. This is the most famous meteor's rain in the Northern Hemisphere. Which will be from  10th to 13th August. To enjoy the Perseidas, you should choose a point with low light pollution and after midnight.

Este año  el protagonismo de las Perseidas en la noche del 10 de Agosto no será tan brillante como estamos acostumbrados, al coincidir con el fenómeno que los astrónomos denominan “Súper-Luna”.  El domingo, el astro lunar se encontrará en el punto más cercano a la tierra, de su órbita elíptica. Lo que llevará a que veamos al astro un 15% más grande y un tercio más brillante de lo habitual.

On the night of 10th August, the role of the Perseidas won’t be as brilliant as we are accustomed, because other astronomic phenomenon will be on that night too; whose has been called “Super-Moon” by astronomers. On Sunday, The Lunar Orb will be the nearest to the Earth inside its elliptical orbit.  We will be able to see it bigger (15%) and brighter (33%) that usually.
